  1. Let’s Talk Mental Health  

Let’s Talk Mental Health (LTMH) was founded in 2018 as a non-profit organization that aims to eliminate the stigma around mental illnesses by raising awareness through Art. They provide a confidential and safe environment for people to talk openly about issues they face mentally and things interrupting their mental space. 

  1. Moner Bondhu 

Moner Bondhu is a platform to provide care for mental health and well-being services with a dynamic and skilled team of counselors and experts. Their mission is to make professional counseling accessible, affordable, and convenient – so anyone who struggles with life’s challenges can get help, anytime, anywhere. Since 2016, Moner Bondhu has reached 20,00,000 people through its various online platforms. 

  1. Light to Life 

Labib Tazone Utshab established Light to Life in 2016. “Light to Life”, an active citizen Social Action Project SAP, won the Joy Bangla Youth Award 2018 in the Community Development category. Over the past four years, Light of Life has reached over half a million young people in Bangladesh to raise awareness about mental health and wellbeing. 

  1. Monobikash Foundation

Monobikash Foundation is an organization that provides mental health services. Primarily Monobikash started its journey in 1996 with a mission to improve children’s mental health. Overcoming several barriers, Monobikash continues to play an important role in raising awareness of mental health issues in all ages.

  1. Kaan Pete Roi

Most of us do not know that people with mental illness also need care. This can be done by carefully listening to what someone has to say. That’s what ‘Kaan Pete Roi’ is exactly doing. Kaan Pete Roi, is the first ever emotional support and suicide prevention helpline in Bangladesh, where anyone can call and get emergency psychiatric services from their trained volunteers. Anyone struggling with any sort of mental issues can call ‘Kaan Pete Roi’ for help. It is a valuable resource for those who need someone to talk to. The mission of the helpline is to alleviate feelings of despair, isolation, distress, and suicidal feelings among members of our community. Kaan Pete Roi accomplishes this through confidential, compassionate, and open-minded listening. 

  1. Life Spring

LifeSpring started its journey in 2017 with the goal of redefining mental health care and becoming Bangladesh’s top community-based organization dedicated to serving those suffering from physical and mental disorders. It provides services both in rural and urban areas of Bangladesh and is trying to create awareness about the importance of mental well-being among the people. 

  1. Esho Nije Kori 

Esho Nije Kori is a mental health wellness platform that offers individual and group counseling to those suffering from mental health issues and corporate counseling to professionals. They use various methods to help rehabilitate mental health, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness training.

 

  1. Alcohol Foundation

Alcohol Foundation is a youth-led social organization dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being in Bangladesh. They are determined to build up a society that is aware of the importance of mental health, mitigates the stigma around mental health problems, and flourishes with empathy, kindness, and compassion.

  1. Monosheba

Monosheba: Organization of Humanity and Mental Well-Being is the first non-profit organization in Bangladesh to support mental health with the aim of making mental health services accessible to all. In addition to winning a national award at the Call for Nation, a national Hackathon organized by the Bangladesh ICT Division, the Monosheba organization has been successful in the United States and plans to begin operations abroad.

  1. Shuchona Foundation

Shuchona Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) and conducts advocacy, research, and capacity-building activities. It was founded in 2014 with the aim of giving those who suffer because disabilities prevent them from participating in the economic development of their country a new beginning.
